Following her whirlwind break into the entertainment business in 2008 when Leanne was the winner of RTE's ‘You're a Star’ competition, she has continued to pursue her passion for singing. Leanne has just finished a nine week run playing Jill in The Gaiety Theatre production of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’, her second lead role there in two consecutive years. These past 18 months have seen Leanne land the lead role in a pre-West End production of ‘Sleeping Beauty’ as well landing a number one single in the Irish charts. She has also starred in ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ in the National Concert Hall, ‘The Vagina Monologues’ in the Tivoli Theatre and worked as a presenter both on radio and online. Whilst following her dreams, Leanne has never lost her sensible streak. Having previously completed a BA in English and Theology, she is now combining working as a performer, while also studying for an MA in Journalism and Broadcast Media.
